To maintain a high standard of accommodation for all our guests, Ballito Sands Accommodation requires compliance with the following Terms & Conditions.
In compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, certain clauses in bold are intended to draw your attention, as they:
Limit the risk or liability of Ballito Sands Accommodation or any third party.
Require you to assume risk or liability.
Oblige you to indemnify Ballito Sands Accommodation or another party.
Are acknowledgements of fact by you, the Tenant.
We respect your right to privacy and comply with the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act:
Your information will be treated as strictly confidential.
Data is retained only for the statutory period.
Reasonable security measures are taken to prevent unauthorised access or loss.
We are not liable for data breaches beyond our reasonable control.
By providing your email address and personal details, you consent to us processing this information for purposes such as:
Responding to your queries.
Informing you of special offers.
Processing accommodation bookings.
Improving your website experience.
A 50% non-refundable deposit confirms your booking.
R450 booking fee and refundable breakage deposit are required (amount specified in your confirmation letter).
The deposit must be paid within 24 hours, or the booking will lapse.
Balance is payable 30 days before arrival via bank transfer or direct deposit.
International transfers: You are responsible for all forex-related charges.
Breakage deposit must be paid 30 days before arrival and is refundable within 14 days of departure (less any damages or losses).
Note: We reserve the right to deduct for misuse of linen/towels or damages exceeding the deposit.
A copy of your ID and proof of residence must be submitted with the booking.
For international guests without a South African bank account, please arrange for cash refund of your breakage deposit.
No student groups or guests under the age of 25 unless accompanied by responsible adults.
Check-in: 2:00 PM | Check-out: 9:00 AM
Kindly confirm your arrival and departure times. Provide a contactable cell number if possible.
No pets allowed. Violation will result in immediate eviction without refund.
Respect quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Maximum occupancy as per your booking confirmation must be strictly adhered to.
Weekday housekeeping included between 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Optional weekend/public holiday service: R350/day (book in advance).
Housekeepers may assist with personal laundry at your discretion (gratuity-based).
High season: Housekeeping is not provided.
We accept no liability for any damage caused by housekeepers to your personal belongings.
Linen is changed every 7 days, towels every 3 days.
Extra changes are available at an additional charge.
Bath towels are for indoor use only. Replacement cost will be deducted if misused.
Leave the apartment clean and secured.
Return keys as agreed.
Store outdoor furniture properly upon departure.
If legal action is necessary to enforce these Terms, the tenant agrees to pay attorney fees on an attorney-client scale.
You agree to indemnify Ballito Sands Accommodation, its staff, and owners against any claims, injury, damages, or loss of any kind arising from your stay.
We are not liable for theft. Activate security systems and report incidents to SAPS.
In case of unavailability of your booked property, we reserve the right to:
Offer a suitable alternative, or
Refund your rental payment.
No refunds will be issued for early departure.
If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable or invalid, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
Payment of the booking deposit constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
